Apple, Google and now Dell!

Dell, well known for their Computers around the World have followed Apple and Google’s progression into the Mobile Phone sector with a better than expected effort. It has been much said in the past few years that the Mobile Phone world be shaken up with the introduction of true Internet usage and faster download speeds on Mobile Phones having now moved away from WAP. With Mobile Phones becoming ever more powerful and with the increasing amount of Smartphones coming to the Market, it was only a matter of time before Apple and Google would find other Technology firms muscling in and following in their footsteps.
Firms such as Samsung, Sony (Ericsson), Toshiba, amongst other Technology giants have long been involved in many different sectors of the electronics industry. But Dell have only ever done one thing and one thing (some say) very well – Which is making computers and laptops.

So what can you expect from the Dell Streak then?

Checking out the specs and the write up about the Dell Streak, a really well spec’d Mobile Phone which will give the established Smartphones already on the market a run for their money. Dell have also sided with the Google Android camp which is no bad thing and will actually be a great selling point for the Streak. Google Android’s version of Apple’s App Store is gaining momentum and with a lot of great Apps already available for Android powered Mobiles, the Dell Streak is sure to gain popularity amongst Dell purist, Android and Smartphone lovers alike.
